Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, social-emotional disabilities, and other related disabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with program and district administration, classroom personnel, and families to develop and implement appropriate interventions.
- Provide meaningful recommendations and support based on assessment findings to promote student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and educational planning.
Qualifications
- Illinois Professional Educator License with a valid School Psychologist endorsement.
- Demonstrated experience assessing students across a range of special education disabilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills essential for working with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Background working in high-needs school environments or special education cooperatives is highly valued.
