A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year within a K-12 educational setting located in North Vernon, IN. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students across preschool through 12th grade, providing vital psychological support that fosters their academic and emotional growth.
This position is itinerant, requiring travel between multiple schools within the district. Mileage reimbursement is provided to support your travel needs. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite, as virtual work is not an option. We welcome applicants holding valid licensures from other states and those open to relocating or traveling for the role.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students PreK-12
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing counseling and support services to students
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the overall school mental health program
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to comply with state and federal regulations
