The role is set within a facility equipped with 224 licensed beds, featuring 20 ICU and 40 progressive care beds, alongside a 16-bed emergency department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the radiology suite, including prep, recovery, and discharge processes.
- Assist with intraprocedural moderate sedation and port access management.
- Utilize critical care and cardiac nursing skills to monitor patients.
- Employ EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and imaging software such as Philips iSite.
- Maintain compliance with department protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations with virtual patient follow-up.
Qualifications And Experience
- Valid Compact State Board Nursing License verified for North Carolina.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with cardiac or critical care background preferred.
- Proficiency in radiology nursing support, including interventional procedures.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced radiology environment supporting inpatient, outpatient, observation, and emergency patients.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 8-hour day shifts.
- Includes a 1:5 rotation for weekend and holiday virtual follow-up calls.
- Call-back availability required; no floating responsibilities.
