Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including general radiography and specialized imaging.
- Provide imaging services to a wide range of patient populations, including emergency and ICU cases.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Utilize EMR systems (EPIC) and operate advanced radiology equipment.
- Participate in fair call rotations and cover approximately 75% of holidays.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and assist with maintaining a positive team environment.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Minimum 1 year of radiology technologist experience preferred.
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
- Confidence in clinical skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Previous experience or willingness to work in a high-volume trauma and teaching hospital preferred.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts, primarily Friday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Position includes weekend and holiday responsibilities based on fair rotation.
- Contract assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks with consistent shift scheduling.
