Openings Include
- Two Exceptional Children (EC)/Resource positions at the middle school level
- One Elementary K-3 EC position
Candidates will work 37.5 hours per week, supporting students with special needs through individualized instruction and collaboration with school staff.
Key Qualifications And Requirements
- Valid Special Education Teaching License in North Carolina
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students with exceptional needs
- Strong understanding of special education best practices and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Ability to create inclusive classrooms that promote academic and social growth
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement
