What Strategic Meetings & Events Contributes To Cardinal Health
Strategic Meetings and Events is responsible for the development, planning and implementation of internal and external meetings, events, and trade shows aligned with strategic business and brand objectives.
Location - Work from home and fully remote, but specifically targeting individuals in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX or Cleveland, OH areas (within commutable distance of our office)
Responsibilities
- Assists in planning and execution of meetings per guidelines given by Meeting Manager.
- Work with Meeting Managers to assist with audio visual arrangements, food & beverage orders and onsite logistics as needed
- Manage hotel reservations, attendee travel bookings and transportation
- Manage onsite registration and attendee arrivals
- Manage webinars and ancillary activities as assigned
- Adherence to compliance items
- Participate in internal and external meetings on weekly basis
- Work in CVENT to track travel and hotel requests, registration reports, manage mobile app
- Merging, collection and tracking of contracts and W9s and monitoring compliance to all guidelines
- Work directly with team to print, pack and ship meeting supplies and meeting materials needed for meeting
- Serve as onsite contact for the venue and attendees
Qualifications
- Ideally targeting 3+ years of experience in related field (meeting coordination, planning, etc), preferred
- Strong CVENT and Excel experience, preferred
- Strong travel and hotel booking experience, preferred
- Strong organizational skills required
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Ability to travel on weekends as needed to assist on-property at meetings/events (est. 25-35%)

- Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
- Travel including weekends to on-site events as needed
Anticipated Pay Range $56,200.00 - $78,100.00 USD
