Overview
Soliantis seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a positive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and implement strategies for addressing students' academic and behavioral challenges.
- Provide counseling services to students on an individual or group basis to address emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for appropriate accommodations and interventions.
- Consult with parents and guardians to offer strategies for supporting students' emotional and academic growth at home.
- Work closely with school administrators and community resources to promote mental health awareness and support student well-being.
- Provide crisis intervention services when needed and help create a safe, supportive school environment.
- Assist with staff training on topics related to student mental health, behavioral interventions, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to student assessments, interventions, and progress.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid State of Arizonacertification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations including students, parents, and school staff.
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
