Overview
Soliantis seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a positive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and implement strategies for addressing students' academic and behavioral challenges.
Provide counseling services to students on an individual or group basis to address emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for appropriate accommodations and interventions.
Consult with parents and guardians to offer strategies for supporting students' emotional and academic growth at home.
Work closely with school administrators and community resources to promote mental health awareness and support student well-being.
Provide crisis intervention services when needed and help create a safe, supportive school environment.
Assist with staff training on topics related to student mental health, behavioral interventions, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
Maintain accurate and confidential records related to student assessments, interventions, and progress.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid State of Arizonacertification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations including students, parents, and school staff.
Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
