Position Overview

- Work Schedule: Monday Friday, following the school district calendar
- Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed.
- Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives.
- Consult with educators on best practices for student mental health, behavioral interventions, and crisis prevention.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education and psychological services.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement (Required).
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration.
