JOB FUNCTION
The Industrial Engineer I will develop and implement methods to identify and improve manufacturing cost and processes. In addition, collaborate with manufacturing at all levels to drive cost reduction and increase throughput.
Salary and Benefits
The salary ranges from $67,000.00-$70,000.00 Starting salary will be dependent on experience level. This is an on-site position with no relocation allowance.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Establish direct labor standards through direct observation of fabrication and assembly processes to generate accurate standard cost.
- Develop and maintain assembly work instructions and fabrication setup sheets for new and existing processes.
- Provide support to plant wide EHS initiatives.
- Support investigation and resolution of installation issues and customer complaints
- Provide input to the operations expense and capital budgets.
- Remain up to date on best practices affecting processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education/Experience:
- B.S. degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in plant floor industrial engineering in a metal manufacturing environment, preferably sheet metal cutting, welding, assembly, or packaging/packing of large finished goods.
- Demonstrated success building strong working partnerships with plant floor supervisors, managers, and employees.
- 3D CAD/CAM expertise not required. Ability to do simple designs of basic assembly fixtures, nest fixtures, and alignment gauges would be an advantage.
- Efficient computer and Internet skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MPR systems. A high degree of Excel expertise is needed for this position.
- Must be well-spoken, a good leader and strong communicator to work with other NuAire team members, especially with plant floor staff, managers, supervisors, and engineers.
