Who are we looking for?
Responsible for playing a key role in building, leading, and mentoring our growing engineering organization. Utilize experience in modern SaaS/cloud-based infrastructures, scaling, leading, and securing an ecosystem of applications with proactive vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
What will you do?
Design and develop robust, scalable, and supportable solutions and work in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Engage and develop talent by creating a unifying vision to steer and motivate his teams. Lead through influence and work effectively with his colleagues across Analytics, Product Development, and IT. The offshore and onshore teams will collaborate effectively as one unit. Use innovative approaches to getting things done in a lean and fast-moving environment.
- Hire and develop high-potential engineering professionals while strengthening collaboration and cohesion across the teams.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the key drivers and opportunities within the business.
- Handle priorities and clearly communicate results to the executive leadership team.
- Communicate highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience when needed.
- Provide high-level technical contributions to customer implementations and relationships and foster a service-focused engineering environment.
- Build an environment where data driven decisions are easily made.
- Apply tools and standard methodologies for the improvement of the product development process, and to facilitate fast and effective releases.
- Ensure product architecture and implementation is maintainable and scalable to accommodate future development.
This is an onsite position at our office in San Diego, CA.
What education and experience do you need?
A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and 5 years related experience.
- The position requires the ability to build responsive Single Page Web Applications using modern front-end technologies such as jQuery, React/Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Database Development (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), REST web services development, effective and automated unit Testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD), Automated Testing Tools/Technologies/Concepts, securing code and vulnerability prevention.

What does the position pay:
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $193,00.00 annual compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
