About the Role:
We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) who is eager to break into new accounts, spark meaningful conversations, and drive top-of-funnel growth for our sales team. This is not just about volume—it’s about strategy, persistence, and the ability to communicate TailorMed’s value to key decision-makers.

- Resilient and resourceful, able to navigate complex organizations and find creative ways to connect with the right people.
- A compelling communicator, skilled at crafting personalized outreach that resonates with healthcare executives.
- Tech-savvy and data-driven, leveraging sales tools and automation to optimize outreach and workflow.
- Passionate about healthcare innovation, with a strong desire to contribute to a mission-driven company.
Responsibilities:
- Own outbound prospecting efforts—research, identify, and engage potential customers across key healthcare sectors (hospitals, pharmacies, health systems, life sciences, payers).
- Develop multi-touch outreach strategies using a mix of cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other engagement tactics.
- Book high-quality meetings for the sales team by effectively communicating TailorMed’s value and qualifying prospects.
- Adapt and refine messaging based on feedback, ensuring relevance and impact in every conversation.
- Work closely with sales and marketing to align on ideal customer profiles, target accounts, and campaign strategies.
- Leverage CRM and prospecting tools to track progress, measure effectiveness, and optimize outreach efforts.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in sales technology to enhance prospecting strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (SaaS, healthcare, or tech preferred but not required).
- Highly proficient in CRM and prospecting tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can craft a compelling email just as well as you can hold an engaging conversation.
- Resilient and competitive mindset—you don’t get discouraged by rejection; you see it as part of the process.
- Creative problem-solver—you find ways to get in front of decision-makers, even in complex organizations.
- Data-driven and tech-savvy—you know how to analyze outreach metrics, refine your approach, and leverage automation to work smarter.
What We Offer:
