The role of packager will do manual and/or automated put up of all blister, form/fill/seal, hospital pack and allergist tray products. Associate will have a general knowledge of al packaging equipment which will enable safe operation of equipment through breaks, clearing jams, stopping and restarting machine as needed.
This role is for A Shift
Essential Responsibilities (included But Are Not Limited To)
- Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis
- Must complete plant lock out procedures and key interrupt
- Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams
- Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to
- Discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving syringes.
- Checking packaging for correct count
- Checking for damage to syringe
- Inserting brochures as required
- Palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card
- Operating semi-auto tape machine
- Performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention
- Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements
- Keep work area clean
- Final clean up at end of shift
- Must take personal responsibility in all aspects of the job, hold team members to safety standards/regulations/GMP and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business
- Regular attendance
Basic Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED
- Read, write, and speak English
- Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office
