Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manufacturing Site Recruiter identifies, attracts, and secures top talent for site openings. This role works closely with plant leaders/hiring managers to develop recruitment plans and uses various sourcing methods to find qualified candidates. It balances quality hires, process efficiency, and a positive candidate experience. As part of the HR team, this position supports the full recruitment cycle to onboard high-performing talent. Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Contribute to the complete recruiting process and fulfilling of requisitions with high-performing talent through:
- Partnering with hiring managers and the HR team to understand position requirements; periodic review/update job descriptions will be required.
- Partnering with agencies to ensure temporary labor is properly and timely staffed
- Sourcing, screening resumes and evaluating applicants.
- Scheduling and conducting phone interviews.
- Conducting competency behavioral-based interviews.
- Providing status updates to HR and hiring managers as necessary.
- Conducting reference checks and assisting with background check processes.
- Collecting interview feedback and documenting candidate assessments throughout the interview process.
- Partnering with agencies and job board representatives.
- Providing expertise in branding, attracting, and acquiring high-performing talent to meet ICU Medical strategic business needs.
- Developing passive candidate pipelines.
- Providing appropriate level of guidance, consultation, and education to hiring managers on hiring processes and best practices.
- Developing knowledge and understanding of the ICU Medical culture, products, business model, and the medical device industry.
- Contributing to the ICU Medical culture of being collaborative, respectful, transparent, ethical, efficient, and high-achieving.
- Performing other duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a recruiter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
- High level of proficiency with job boards, social media, and recruitment platforms.
- Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees and candidates at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet specific, time sensitive tasks within a fast paced environment.
- Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others.
- Excellent organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to travel for job fairs, career events, and networking activities when required.
Education And Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR performing staffing responsibilities.
- International experience a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency with recruitment systems such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and government regulations related to talent acquisition processes.
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment
- Work may be performed in a clean room environment and follow the guidelines established for such an environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
