TraceLink is seeking an IT intern that will assist the IT department with day-to-day operations and special projects. This dynamic environment will provide the individual with a wide variety of technologies and solutions in a high-growth, global, cloud-first company.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy Windows and Mac laptops for end users
- Peripheral setup for end users (cube setup and breakdown)
- Interaction with end users to troubleshoot IT issues
- Create phone extensions
- Create user accounts in Active Directory
- Manage and update equipment inventory
- Create and update process, procedure, and technical documentation
- Maintain and improve the IT intranet site
- Access control system changes (badge issuance, changes)
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills and Requirement
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic, fast changing, and fluid work environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
