Summary:
Under general direction of the Director, Marketing Operations this position manages the activities associated with the company’s Enterprise Marketing team, specifically in relation to the team’s centers of excellence (COE) inclusive of Brand, Communications and Face-to-Face strategies. This is done by overseeing the portfolio of strategic initiatives critical to each COE as well as the budget, technologies and partners/vendors associated with them.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Streamlines marketing and communication as well as print and digital strategies in areas of content creation, marketing communications and social media
Organizes project plans to ensure milestones are met and issues are addressed
Maintains monthly reporting information for the department including budget adherence and marketing analytics reporting
Plans and executes the use of web, SEO, marketing databases, CRMs, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Measures and reports performance of digital marketing, public relations, traditional marketing and other campaigns, and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Develops content for the corporate website, the company’s industry thought leadership blog/site, intranet site and other promotional materials
Maintains effective internal & external communication resources to maximize brand consistency and strength across all markets served
Assists in the project management of brand and marketing campaigns
Manages the ongoing relationships between the marketing department and key strategic partners/vendors and their ongoing measurement of performance via quarterly business reviews
Assists with the coordination of trade show activities including the development of marketing and merchandising opportunities as well as the creation of custom materials and messaging content
May manage and direct the activities of full or part-time associates
Must be willing to travel to company events such as trade shows and marketing meetings
Performs related duties as assigned
Minimal travel as needed/15%
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, communications, journalism, English, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
Normally requires a minimum of 5+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience
Generally expect a manager to have 5+ years of experience
Strong communication skills, especially writing
Effective time management skills, ability to meet aggressive deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships and provide customer service to internal staff
Strong presentation skills
Strong organizational skills, including project management; attention to detail
Strong leadership skills
Strong negotiating skills
Graphics knowledge helpful
Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
