Caseload
- Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
- Depends on experience with CVI vs Braille Learning
Position Requirements
- Valid certification or licensure as a TVI
- Experience working with visually impaired students
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to visually impaired students in the school setting
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' visual needs and develop appropriate educational plans
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of visually impaired students
- Teach students skills related to visual impairment, including orientation and mobility, independent living skills, and assistive technology use
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' success and inclusion in the school community
