Software Delivery Lead to join our team for this
Hybrid role out of our
Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
The Software Delivery Lead is a member of the Engineering – Mobile products line for Imprivata and is responsible for managing a variety of challenging software research and development projects and assisting the team keep on an established project schedule and execute on deliverables. This role works closely with Engineering and Delivery Leadership, and other technical professionals in the success of Mobile Products. Integration with other products and enabling cross-product roadmap priorities is a new key area this role will help drive. Because of the collaborative nature in working with Mobile leadership and engineering teams, we require the hire to be local to the Waltham office.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead ongoing development of the team within the agile framework and continuous improvement of Engineering processes, quality, and quantity of work delivered.
- Act as the SCRUM Master to lead multiple Agile Product teams.
- Communicate status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate grooming, stand-ups, communication, and decision making with the team.
- Plan and track Beta Testing and User Acceptance Testing in partnership with Product Owners.
- Build a highly functioning team by leading the team in best practices for Project Management.
- Manage the department and team plans by establishing clear goals, holding staff accountable, and providing regular feedback to staff members. Manage corrective action as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years technology related industry experience
- 3+ years of experience leading/managing technical teams
- Experience leading an agile scrum team at a fast-paced technology company. Ability to troubleshoot details while maintaining the “big picture” view
- General knowledge of hardware and software technologies related to Imprivata’s products.
- Ability to understand complex technical issues and facilitate resolution.
- Ability to communicate well with internal and external technical audiences.
- Ability to triage issues based on priority, impact, risk, and release timing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage high pressure situations and build trust with stakeholders.
- Ability to provide input into product strategy in the context of Imprivata’s business strategy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues.
- Outstanding time management skills and attention to details.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, “Find a way to get it done” attitude.
This position offers a salary range of $159,800.00 to $165,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
