Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for providing support to Talent Acquisition functions including sourcing and attracting top talent for vacant field labor positions.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work in a high-volume capacity as well as challenging markets across Canada and the US. Our team is setting challenging benchmarks to redefine the standard for service and delivery in the Industrial Services line of business when it comes to talent acquisition.

The
Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the HR and Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring smooth processes and effective communication with recruiters, hiring managers, HR and candidates. This person has strong communication skills, a proactive approach to understanding hiring needs, and a track record of timely project completion. Also, the ability to think outside the box and be creative!
Recruitment
- Assist in managing career events, including inventory management of promotional items (SWAG), event registrations and attendance.
- Act as backup for recruiters when they are out of office and serve as secondary recruiter for entry level requisitions.
- Assist in sourcing candidates on job boards to help build a pool of qualified candidates.
- Monitor the success rates of recruiting events and campaigns by tracking attendees through the hiring process.
- Manage hiring event sign in sheet reconciliation & maintenance.
Administrative
- Track and confirm delivery of recruiting collateral shipments.
- Manage TA Sharepoint site.
- Send candidate satisfaction surveys and compile data.
- Initiate HR department purchase orders.
- Monitor, order and receive supplies.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Social Media And Recruitment Marketing
- Manage and post on social media accounts daily
- Coordinate with recruiters to promote hard-to-fill roles on platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn
- Identify new pages and groups on social media platforms to post.
- Respond to social media inquiries.
- Design recruitment flyers and graphics as needed.
HR
- Lead New Hire Orientation.
- Compile and analyze exit survey data.
- Assist and support HR with employee relations issues and investigations.
- Partner with HR and Business Leaders to complete HR projects and initiatives.
- Manage the distribution of weekly HR newsletter.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Construction and/or Industrial Service Industries is considered a plus but not required;
- Recent college degree preferred, but not required:
- Strong social media experience required, including graphic design, content creation, and data analysis;
- Graphic design experience using Canva or other graphic editing software knowledge a plus;
- Strong computer skills with regards to web-based programs;
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and database management;
- Concise verbal and written communication skills required;
- Can assimilate and synthesize a great deal of information quickly;
- Positive outlook and sense of humor;
- Enthusiastic about Human Resources and Talent Acquisition – advocates the valuable role that HR and TA play in strengthening the competitive position of the company
