Position Summary:
The Solution Consultant, Revenue Cycle’s responsible for being the solution expert and providing comprehensive billing functionality, service, and workflow knowledge during the sales process. This role serves as a domain and industry expert for athenahealth and is responsible for creating and maintaining value driven presentations, focused on financial solution demonstrations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitors in support of sales quota attainment. The Solution Consultant, Revenue Cycle must be able to professionally present to all levels of an organization, including C-Suite executives.
The Solution Consultant, Revenue Cycle is additionally responsible for gathering discovery information on each opportunity, analyzing the information and, in conjunction with the sales team members (sales executive, sales manager and solution design etc), strategically defining, creating, and demonstrating a solution. This solution should incorporate athenahealth’s value drivers in accordance with the prospect/client’s requirements and our command of the message process.
They must have demonstrated proven expertise over creation, submission, and follow-up of claims on athenaNet. They must be able to establish credibility with a billing team and professionally demonstrate the breadth and depth of athena’s revenue cycle services and network benefits. The Solution Consultant, Revenue Cycleis able to participate in complex and diverse account opportunities. The Solution Consultant, Revenue Cycle is required to have a masterful understanding of all facets of the ambulatory healthcare market, with deep knowledge of full revenue cycle for a medical practice.
