Position Summary:
The Azenta Automation Engineering team is responsible for developing automated hardware and software to transform our sample repository (SRS) and multiomics (Genewiz) businesses. We work with the latest technologies to push the boundaries of what is possible within these spaces to ensure Azenta’s industry leading position.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Co-op student to help in the development of industry-leading robotic solutions for sample management. This position is onsite at our innovation focused facility. You will be surrounded by exceptional engineering talent and opportunities as well as a fast-paced, engaging culture.
Responsibilities:
- SW development for the automation system using C# and .NET framework
- Working closely with the SW team to meet the deadlines
- Testing the system level and diagnostics applications
- Assign and verify bugs and features
- Assist with test report documentation
Requirements:
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other engineering program
- Proficient in C# programming and .NET environment, and Visual studio 2019 and 21 preferred
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming
- Collaborative team player; able to give and receive feedback
