About Dexcom’s Summer Intern Program
Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of “Game Changers” based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization. Internship Department Details
- Department Name: Procurement and Supplier Management
- Business Function: Program Management
- Team Highlights: This role resides in the Procurement and Supplier Management team (PSM). Main activities pertain to developing process mapping and workflow integration of current procurement activities, nonetheless, will also touch the areas of supplier risk monitoring, supplier diversity, supplier management, project management, which includes proactive communication to Sourcing, Purchasing and other team members, as well as interaction with suppliers.
Where You Come In
- You will develop new process maps and help create structure and formalization of workflows
- Project management for process improvements and/or business continuity projects
- You will identify opportunities for process improvement and alignment and present recommendations.
- Interact with suppliers during diversity events and report activities
What Makes You Successful
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability and willingness to network both internally and externally.
- Personable skills and willing to interact in person
- Knowledge or willing to learn about supply chain and global economy.
- Interest in global economy, supply chain, sustainability, ESG, project management, supplier diversity.
- Demonstrated interest in diabetes management is a huge plus or medical industry.
- Highly flexible and able to shift priorities as needed.
- Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills that can ask, learn, and propose new ideas.
- Being present during work hours, demonstrate professional ethics.
- Having initiative and motivation to do the work.
- Willingness to learn, be coachable, mentored and receive direct feedback.
- Can adapt to hybrid work (in person and autonomous from home) and is open to improve communication skills.

Experience And Education Requirements
- Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be a currently enrolled Master’s, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.
Non-Exempt Salary Details
The annualized base salary range for this role is $29.00 to $.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
