Production Supervisor
This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager and indirectly to the Visual Inspection, Labeling & Packaging (VILP) Manager. The role is responsible for supervision of the 3rd shift manufacturing and inspection and labeling production areas, processes and personnel.

Essential Functions:
- Supervise employees who are responsible for formulation; aseptic filling; inspection, labeling and packaging. Position may supervise other areas of operations as assigned by direct and/or indirect Manager.
- Provide strong leadership with a focus on creating/maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, accountability, etc. This includes time and attendance review and maintenance for all department employees.
- Ensure all SOPs are current, and training and compliance to SOPs and processes remains current and maintained throughout the 3rd shift workforce.
- Analyze Production efficiencies downtime and waste. Lead teams to improve efficiencies, reduce waste, and achieve departmental production goals and objectives. Promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Write investigations and CAPA actions for Manufacturing and/or VILP non-conformances in the department. Work with QA to quickly resolve any variance or document errors so that product may be released on time.
- Lead Problem Solving activities.
- Manage staffing levels and budget spending.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
- Conduct regular 1:1’s to address performance, feedback and relationship building.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and facilitate as able.
Experience and Necessary Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or commensurate experience required
- 3 years of experience in sterile manufacturing required
- 1 year of experience in supervising or leading a cGMP FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment required. 3+ years preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
- Strong results orientation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, proficient in the use of spreadsheets and word processing programs

Shift: Monday-Friday 11pm-7:30am
