Production Supervisor
The Supervisor, Manufacturing- 3rd Shift- will oversee manufacturing operations and will be responsible for performing planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes and resources; leading a (production/ Logistics) staff to ensure high Quality, low cost and On-time delivery to our valued customers.
The Supervisor, Manufacturing will report to the Senior Manager, Production and assist in the implementation and execution of the manufacturing plan, provide leadership, efficient workflow direction, developmental opportunities and a positive, healthy and safe work environment for all department personnel.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all manufacturing operations on the shift.
- Schedule personnel for OT as needed.
- Complete daily shift report. Monitor and post all production goals.
- Maintain employee records such as discipline records, accident reports, training records and attendance. Monitor and approve employee's time in ADP.
- Manage department performance objectives. Assess the performance of direct reports within the Performance Management System.
- Ensure staff members receive and complete training and development including required Omnicell university assignments.
- Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: set objectives, establish priorities, monitor and evaluate results.
- Responsible for equipment efficiencies, order throughput and customer fulfillment.
- Responsible for employee safety program execution and machine requirements. Support communication, training and accident investigations to minimize workplace hazards.
- Ensure the management operating system (QMS) is fully utilized in the execution of all processes in the responsible area.
- Ensure products meet or exceeds Quality standards. Sign off and approve Quality Control Sheets per area Quality plan.
- Ensure proper and timely recruitment and training of personnel required to meet departmental staffing plan.
- Light material handling with fork lift to move product or material to support operations.
- Maintain inventory of expensed items that are not monitored automatically through the Bill of Materials with Purchased Requests such as manufacturing supplies and miscellaneous items. Manage established Kan-ban programs as applicable.
- Ensure ERP transactions are timely and accurate for the area of responsibility. Investigate and reconcile all inventory transaction errors and variances.
- Conduct audits to support Omnicell’s Safety, Quality and Inventory accuracy programs.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Control Systems.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Team building skills: Hiring capable, results focused staff that live the Omnicell values.

Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree.
- 3+ years' experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with an ERP System.
- Experience with internal and/or external Quality or EHS audits.
- Experience with machine design and utilization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management related degree.
- Experience with quality processes such as Six Sigma, Lean, or any other recognized industry methodology relevant to ensuring operational excellence in Manufacturing Operations.
- Fork truck license.
- In-depth working knowledge of SAP MM-PP.
