Entry-Level Teaching Position

Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team in Norridge, IL. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges in school settings. The position requires a commitment to obtaining a Para 2 certification, which can be achieved with at least an associate's degree or by passing the para exam.
Youll receive the support and mentorship you need to succeed in this role, ensuring you can make a meaningful impact on students' lives and giving you the experience you need to grow in the education field.
Qualifications
- Commitment to obtaining Para 2 certification
- Strong experience with behavioral challenges, particularly in school settings
- Comfortable with toileting and diapering tasks as needed
- Previous experience working with autism and behavioral needs preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with behavioral needs in the classroom
- Assist teachers with classroom management and implementation of behavioral strategies
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Pay Range
$20 - $24per hour, depending on experience with Special Education
