We're seeking a dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Minneapolis. As a 5th grade teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing students' academic growth and fostering a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various subject areas, including math, science, language arts, and social studies, tailored to the needs of 5th-grade students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, providing appropriate challenges and support.
- Assess student progress using a variety of assessment methods and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that enhance students' understanding of key concepts.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and maintain a positive learning community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in elementary education.
Contracting Details: This is a full-time hourly contract position for the 2024-2025 school year. Teachers will be employed on a W2 basis and will receive weekly pay. Hourly rates will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
