Description
The Receptionist at MEDITECH serves as the first contact to all customers, visitors, and staff both over the phone and in person. MEDITECH receptionists have contact with staff and all levels of management on a daily basis.
As a member of our General and Administrative team, your job would involve:
- Operating a 6-line switchboard (answering and dispersing all incoming calls)
- Screening calls for upper-level management
- Greeting customers and visitors in the building's front lobby
- Monitoring staff for I.D. badges and issuing temporary badges as needed
- Preparing visitor badges daily
- Assisting customers with lodging and transportation issues
- Supporting Administrative Assistants as needed.
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher preferred, but not required, and/or 2-3 years applicable work or military experience
- Adequate typing skills (at least 30 wpm)
- General PC knowledge and experience with Google applications required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of professionalism and dependability
- Self-initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
This is a
hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
