Job Summary
5th Shift is 6 PM to 6:30 AM, Saturday/Sunday + 1 Weeknight
Responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems including, steam boilers, air compressors, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems (HVAC), Water for Injection and the physical plant. Responsible for implementing improvements to improve efficiency and prevent equipment obsolescence. Responsible for insuring the validated state of all equipment, systems and facilities and compliance with all applicable cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA and local government regulations.
Hourly Range: $26.84 - 32.82/hour
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems including, steam boilers, air compressors, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems (HVAC), Water for Injection and general upkeep of the physical plant including clean rooms and building roofing.
- Responsible for implementing improvements to improve efficiency and prevent equipment obsolescence. Included are capital improvement projects like installing heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems, upgrading the Water For Injection system and rebuilding/upgrading filling and packaging equipment.
- Responsible for insuring the validated state of all equipment, systems and facilities and compliance with all applicable cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA and local government regulations.
- Responsible for developing relationships with key vendors for technical support and for assistance in hardware applications.
- All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years related experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of power transfer technology including mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Must be familiar with machine controls including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), relay logic, and operator interfaces.
- Must be familiar with plant utility systems including high pressure steam, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC).
- Must be familiar with metal working including machining and welding.
- Must have a clear understanding of analytical troubleshooting.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills, good documentation skills, good organizational skills and good interpersonal skills to work with others.
