As the
Senior Technology Sales Support Specialist, Pre-Sales CPM Solutions, you will join a dynamic sales team, and you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by showcasing the value of our Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions to prospective customers. With your knowledge of financial processes and experience in software demonstrations, you will work closely with our sales team to understand customer needs, demonstrate the value of our software, and evangelize the CCH Tagetik solution in North America.
In this role you will report to the Director, Pre-Sales, NA, and work from your remote home office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Demonstrations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations that address the unique needs of each prospect, highlighting key functionalities such as financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Work closely with account executives to understand customer pain points and present tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Participate in discovery sessions to uncover business challenges and gather requirements that will drive product positioning.
- Solution Design & Proof of Concepts (POC):
- Assist in designing and delivering proof-of-concepts (POC) to validate the solution fit for prospective customers.
- Work with internal teams to configure environments, including setting up demo data, reports, and dashboards to reflect customer-specific scenarios.
- Customer Engagement:
- Act as a trusted resource for prospects by answering questions about the software, addressing concerns, and helping them envision the value the solution can bring to their organization.
- Participate in technical discussions with finance, FP&A, and IT stakeholders, ensuring their functional and technical needs are addressed.
- RFP & RFI Responses:
- Support the presales team by contributing to RFP/RFI responses, ensuring the technical and functional aspects of our CPM solution align with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal product and technical teams to provide accurate and thorough responses to client inquiries.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:
- Partner with account executives and marketing teams to align on presales strategies that increase the likelihood of closing deals.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams based on prospect interactions to enhance product messaging and development.
- Product Knowledge & Development:
- Stay current on the latest product features and updates, as well as industry trends in CPM and financial performance management.
- Continuously develop your technical and financial acumen through training, product updates, and certifications.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance or technology-related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of two+ years of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) industry experience working with industry leading tools such as Anaplan, Onestream software, SAP BCP/GR/SAC and Oracle EPM.
- Prior Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect with leading CPM tools.
- Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers’ landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology. Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of CCH Tagetik’s solutions.
- Extraordinary presentation and public speaking skills.
- Must have the ability to support technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer’s needs.
- Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modeling.
- Strong Financial Acumen with experience interacting with financial professions within the office of CFO.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
