As a Software Engineer at CoverMyMeds, you’ll create solutions that make our healthcare system work more efficiently and effectively in order to help millions of people receive their prescription medications every year. You’ll build products that our partners in healthcare use every day and innovate products that don't even exist yet. You’ll work on small, cross-functional and collaborative teams with endless opportunities to take on responsibility, continue learning and mentor others. Our Tech Stack: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Typescript, React, PostgreSQL What You’ll Do: CoverMyMeds has built many products to solve complex Healthcare problems. You'll help build solutions with Product Alignment, and contribute to our applications in many ways, including the following: Design and develop web applications and APIs for the CoverMyMeds product line. Work with large data sets to create insights for, and support, our pharmaceutical field representatives. Jump into both the front-end and back-end of solutions, with the exact balance depending on the project and team Own the quality of the solutions you create through automated testing, and support and maintain your solutions after they’re in production Contribute to a productive agile environment by partnering closely with necessary stakeholders, deploying often and inspecting and adapting as needed Partner with technology platform teams to identify required cloud-native capabilities and implement while adhering to industry best-practices Critical Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience Critical Skills: 3+ years' experience with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Typescript, React, PostgreSQL 3+ years' Web Development experience in a professional environment required including a familiarity with front-end & back-end web development technologies and techniques Proficient in developing SQL database-backed software Aptitude with debugging tools to inspect and solve coding issues Additional Skills: Exposure to the ETL process and an interest in working with large data sets. Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with product stakeholders and teammates to find solutions collaboratively Desire to empathetically share and receive feedback and knowledge to help everyone keep improving We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
