Reconciliation Specialist

Job Scope And Major Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis related to the collection of patient copay collections including determining and remitting payment of collections to appropriate pharmacy or manufacturer. This role is ONSITE in the Florham Park NJ location.
- Identify and notify the responsible team when refunds are due. Responsible for the monthly CC card collection reconciliation and to analyze, identify and rectify gaps and inconsistencies.
- Recommend, initiate and follow through to ensure system changes are implemented to enhance the accuracy and ease of reconciling copay collections.
- Maintaining and update the ASPN CC Reporting documentation and liaise with IT and the Patient Dispute Team as needed for research and system modifications.
- Reconcile and resolve differences between Asembia PDL data and general ledger account balances.
- The position is also responsible for the preparation of Asembia1 System invoices and for Hub and Data program invoice preparation as needed.
- Communicate (both verbally and in written form) with pharmacies as well as with IT and pharmacy network managers regarding amounts owed to pharmacy partners and system issues.
- Ad hoc analyses, special projects and other responsibilities as needed.
- Work outside of core business hours may be required.
- Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended (“HIPAA”)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has obtained a Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance or accounting with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred along with superior Microsoft Office skills. Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. Candidate must possess a high degree of initiative and be self-directed.

- Experience in an SQL Server Environment would be beneficial
