We are searching for a dynamic Manager of Sales Training to lead the training initiatives at Azurity Pharmaceuticals. As Manager of Sales Training, you will be instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our sales team by creating innovative training strategies that deeply integrate machine learning and predictive analytics in our Azurity commercial excellence (ACE) model. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of state-of-the-art training programs aligned with our business objectives, driving excellence in sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to the Sales Training team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and innovation.
- Devise and execute a comprehensive sales training strategy that intricately incorporates ACE as the core of our business model embraces machine learning, and predictive analytics and helps elevate the effectiveness of our sales force.
- Craft and implement advanced sales training programs that holistically fuse machine learning algorithms, digital learning platforms, and predictive analytics.
- These programs will empower our sales representatives with enhanced skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to guarantee training content is both accurate and in alignment with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate technological solutions that facilitate immersive and interactive digital learning experiences for our sales personnel.
- Identify skill gaps of our sales reps, enabling the customization of training programs to address individual learning needs effectively.
- Develop and apply metrics and analytics to assess the efficacy of training programs, tracing enhancements in sales performance, and adapting strategies as necessitated.
- Regularly present leadership with comprehensive reports detailing training outcomes and insights for improvements.
- Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to ensure training content accurately reflects product knowledge, market trends, compliance protocols, and customer demands.
- Work collaboratively with the HR department to seamlessly integrate training initiatives with talent development and succession planning.
- Remain updated on advancements in machine learning, digital learning, and predictive analytics, particularly within the context of sales training. Leverage these insights to continually refine training strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven track record in sales training and development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Profound expertise in integrating machine learning, digital learning, and predictive analytics into training strategies, ensuring their seamless inclusion in program designs.
- Thorough comprehension of pharmaceutical sales processes, industry regulations, and emerging trends.
- Demonstrated leadership and adeptness in team management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing learning management systems (LMS), data analytics tools, and other pertinent technologies.
- Possesses strategic thinking, adept problem-solving abilities, and effective decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and excel within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- This position is hybrid in one of our locations in the US and 25% of travel is expected for this role.
