As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will serve as the leader of clinical pharmacy programs and services, develop a strong clinical team in a progressive healthcare environment and hospital. Responsibilities Include: developing and maintenance of a drug policy to support optimal pharmaceutical care and promotes optimal cost effectiveness for all patients; assess, develop, coordinate, implement, and maintenance of clinically relevant tools to support clinical programs and services; aid the Director of Pharmacy in maintaining the pharmacy and an annual clinical plan with the Regional Director of Clinical Service.
Schedule: This position will work at least 40 hours per week primarily Monday through Friday, typically 8 AM- 4:30 PM. On call every 5-6 weeks
Starting salary range: $130k to $140k annually (based upon experience).
About the Facility: The St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center (FTC) is a state funded 255 bed forensic inpatient treatment psychiatric facility operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health’s (DMH) Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) and spanning 2 campuses. The facility provides an array of mental health services to a population primarily comprised of adults 18 years and older who have been committed to the Department of Mental Health by a criminal court under the mental health provisions of Chapter 552 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The central pharmacy is open 24 hours, 7 days per week and offers diversified clinical services. Pharmacy automation includes Cerner, Omnicell and CPOE.
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
- PGY-2 Psychiatric Residency completed
- 3 Years experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
