Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Clinic has check in - 2 exam rooms, drug screen room, Audio/Spirometry room/Lab rooms.
- MA should be prepared to see All Employment Related/OSHA patients required to include but not limited to: New Hire Physical, DOT (Department of Transportation) physical, Worker’s Comp/Injury Treatment, Hearing Tests, Drug Screens, Breath Alcohol Screening, Surveillance exams, TB skin tests, and all out of country Travel requirements.
- EPIC & Paper charting, Breath Alcohol machine, Titmus Vision Screening machine, Otoscope onsite. Supervisor will work in staffing as needed; will also have 1 tech. Lab personnel available for difficult sticks but staff will attempt prior.
- Will receive UP TO 2 days of unit/facility orientation (based on skillset).
- MA will be expected to work independently in role.
- Free parking on site.
- Any solid color scrubs acceptable (must be professional).
Candidate must have:
- 1 year MA experience
- active BLS (AHA)
- Able to collect vitals, administer vaccines, draw blood (Phlebotomy), administer TB skin test
HIGHLY PREFER candidate with MA certification, but not required.
Compensation: depends on experience, skill set and availability.
