Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and implement requirements gathered from change request system for supply chain and manufacturing systems. Build unit and integration tests for the software. Build highly available and easily maintainable software for manufacturing plants. Develop and manage integration with other systems across the organization. Good understanding of CI/CD. Knowledge on the Build process with Ant or any other equivalent. Knowledge on Jenkins is preferred. Good understanding on the Unix scripting is preferred. Should be a good team player to understand others work and share if needed and help each other’s within the team. Develop and maintain Mission Critical systems for manufacturing plants. Work with business users to understand and translate user requirements into forms and functions. Develop documentation as necessary for analysis or design. Participate in the stand-up calls and report status to peer colleagues and manager. Determine and communicate work estimates and status as needed. Stay current with latest Java industry trends and software versions. Participate in 24/7 department on-call program. Work on special assignments as they arise.
Remote work from anywhere within the US is permitted.< 5% domestic and international travel required
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related IT field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation.

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time.” Required expertise/knowledge includes: Experience working with different divisions of an organization for the testing/integration efforts; Oracle DB or EBS, to write complex queries and PL/SQL programs; Agile development methodology; Experience with Java, J2ee, Spring Boot and Angular JS framework; Understanding of Model, View, and Controller Architecture; Designing and developing Oracle Database objects: Tables, View, Queries and Stored Procedures; Knowledge on the Oracle Stored Procedure/SQL/PLSQL; Working with SOAP and REST based web-services.
