The Senior Manager, Intake Operations is responsible for intake operations within CarepathRx by providing support to the intake management team for specialty and specialty home infusion. Oversees, both policy/procedure and staff development within in the intake department. Participate and support various inter and intra department committees to promote the role of intake in the delivery of an optimum patient journey extending to other Partners. Ensures that services are provided in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, ACHC and URAC standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and monitor the budget for areas of responsibility.
- Leads multidisciplinary teams of intake, insurance verification coordinators, authorization representatives, and supportive staff to ensure quality care for our patients.
- Work intra/inter departmentally to ensure successful and timely implementation of new payor contracts.
- Work with pharma manufacturer hubs to streamline the patient’s experience to home or Ambulatory Infusion Suite therapy.
- Work collaboratively to create a program to ensure minimum turnaround time to meet the expectations of internal and external customers.
- Quality and patient satisfaction is maintained within the defined standards through oversight of systems which provide proper controls of services.
- Acts as a resource to ensure compliance of client charges with regulatory requirements, as needed.
- Select, coach, and motivate in the development of a fully qualified staff of managers, supervisors and personnel. Direct the staff in providing mentorship to peers and support personnel for each of the disciplines within the intake department.
- Serves as a role model for excellent customer service by responding constructively to the needs of the partners, management staff, and patients. Responds with courtesy and respect in a way that reflects a positive department image.

- Participate in the transition of partners from implementation to operations. Provide ongoing oversight and provide problem resolutions to strengthen the partner relations and experience.

Requirements
- High school degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7-10 years leadership experience in a professional environment or other health care environment preferred.
- Extensive specialty and specialty infusion experience with payers covering a 50-state strategy, required.
- Computer skills and Microsoft office products experience preferred.
