Position Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist handles performing and improving supply chain operations, focusing on demand planning, supplier management, SIOP and important metric processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop knowledge of the Transplant Diagnostics (TDX) portfolio and manufacturing processes to ensure optimal master schedule stability, work order creation, rescheduling, and level-loading.
Measures of effectiveness include schedule adherence, throughput volume, and expense management.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that closely align with the company's goals to ensure a seamless flow of materials from suppliers to production to customers.
Maintain efficient inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs. Implement inventory management systems and practices optimally.
Ensure all supply chain activities align with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Implement strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions using analytical tools to supervise performance and identify areas for improvement.
Lead demand planning and Sales and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to collect demand inputs and create reliable demand forecasts.
Monitor important metrics for supply chain activities and prepare regular performance reports and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Share supply chain plans, strategies, and performance with senior management and other collaborators.
Attend daily management meetings and provide regular and timely status updates on planning and production issues.
Analyze root causes of stock outs and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, focusing on demand planning, master scheduling, and inventory management.
Outstanding interpersonal, excellent communication and time management skills. Proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP).
Ability to adapt to changing business environments and prioritize.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in business or planning, or equivalent experience.
APICS certification in Planning & Inventory Management; experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus.
Six Sigma Certification.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Normal office and manufacturing environment.
Frequent communication and walking to other areas with designated PPE required.
Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Compensation And Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,000.00.
