We have an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse Quality Monitoring and Review position. Hours of operation are 8:30 - 5:00 p.m Monday through Friday.
This position is responsible for working collaboratively with the company's nursing team and pharmacy to provide seamless patient and referral source care through quality monitoring and review, and coordination of care. The nursing role collaborates with referral sources and treatment teams to develop patient centered plans of care. The position is responsible for reviewing patient documentation and ensuring the information is received in a timely manner. The nurse is also responsible for quality audits, data mining, initiating, and supporting processes for the team.

Qualifications
- Licensed RN, in good standing with the practicing state’s Board of Nursing required
- At least 1 year of acute care or specialized alternate site IV therapy and/or intrathecal experience and VAD experience is preferred.
- Home Infusion experience preferred. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.
- Excellent interactive skills with employees, physicians, referral sources, and consumers.
- Demonstrates competency in patient care standards required for safe delivery for advanced infusion skills.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities, professionalism, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Maintains a positive open mind, flexibility and creativity for change and growth.
- Excellent intrapersonal communication and organizational skills.

Duties
- Assists with coordination of patient care with ordering physician and care team to include pharmacist and reimbursement specialists.
- Collaborates with field nursing to develop the plan of care upon admission and updates periodically as indicated.
- Reviews patient medical charts for accuracy, audits, monitors and ensures completion of documentation to meet quality initiatives and home health agency standards of care.
- Works collaboratively with all members of the nursing team including the Chief Nursing Officer, field nurses and directors to ensure the patient care documentation, data collection, and coordination of care is completed. Ensures the documentation is accurately maintained and processes are followed.
- Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery and offers suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of services offered to consumers.
- Participates in analysis and data collection for performance improvement for medication management evaluations.
- Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs such as Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN)!
