Position Summary
McKesson is seeking a
Pharmacy Engagement Representative.
The responsibilities of this position consist of answering inbound calls from existing Health Mart Atlas members which can result in providing an answer at that moment, additional research within the internal systems or triaging with other departments regarding PBM contracts or payments. It will also require outbound calls to current customers to follow up on open issues, returning voicemails left for the department and partaking in call campaigns. Representatives are expected to provide timely and accurate responses and call notes to inquiries and efficient resolution to issues. This position requires excellent communication, customer service, time management and follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering inbound calls from existing Health Mart Atlas pharmacies regarding Managed Care needs such as adjudication issues, payment research, contract solicitations and reimbursement issues.
- Outbound calls to follow up on open issues that required additional research by the representative, another department or the PBM. This could also include returning voicemails or a call campaign.
- Works with cross-functional teams to ensure value proposition is clearly identified and communicated with members including contract updates, industry news and trends.
- Once tenured in role, serve as a dedicated representative to assigned chains or buying groups.
Minimum Qualification
Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Critical Skills
- 2+ years Customer Service call center environment experience required.
- Pharmacy operation (pharmacy technician) and/or managed care experience/knowledge preferred.
- Effectively manage customer expectations in terms of service and issue resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical industry products, trends, and processes.
- Effectively communicate marketing intelligence to Business Development, Marketing, or appropriate department.
Working Conditions
- Remote work environment – Las Colinas, TX, or Columbus, OH area.
- Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
