Job Description
- A mix of law firm and company legal experience, a person who has worked in a pharma industry or other highly regulated setting.
- Protecting the company’s interests at all times and avoiding unnecessary litigation.
- Experience of working with agreements
- operational and commercial agreements in the context of India Law.
- Drafting vetting of all kinds of Agreements, including CDAs, term sheets, MOUs, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Collaboration Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Structuring of Investments, Development Agreements, Commercial Agreements, Distributions Agreement, in-licensing/out licensing agreements, Contract Manufacturing Agreement, P2P/ Loan License arrangements, API Supply Agreement, etc.
- Experience in handling litigation including Labor, Consumer or Contractual issues and Criminal cases.
- Handling all legal disputes litigation, coordinating with the external counsels, assisting in drafting of petitions, writs, suits, appearing in the courts on behalf of the company and undertaking the strategy aspects of litigations.
- Supporting the India sales and marketing organization with respect to compliance with applicable laws in India and all aspects of promotion and sale of products.
- Implementing policies ensuring adherence to laws, rules regulations lay down by Companies Act, 2013. - Undertaking assessment, determination mitigation of legal enterprise risk, development of tool legal checklist, monitoring the legal compliance calendar and reporting the same to the US legal team.
- Developing strategies to manage contracts litigation to minimize exposure of the company to claims and litigation.
- Keeping track of existing laws changes to laws rules governing securitization assets reconstruction activities. - Work with a multinational footprint.
- Person should have sound judgement and be able to useful contextual insights.
- Ensure that all the documents pass through laid out process and are properly executed and stored
Qualifications
Qualification- B.Com/BA/BSC LLB. B.Com/BA/BSC LLB (Hons.)
Total Experience 5 years 6 years + Relevant Experience (in years) 4 years 4 years + Industry (Preferred Companies if any) Pharmaceutical Sector or industry experience Pharmaceutical Sector or law firms
