Job Description Summary
The IT eDiscovery and Information Governance Manager is responsible for Endo’s eDiscovery and Information Governance solutions. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, knowledge of industry best practices, and excellent communication skills. The manager will perform day-to-day eDiscovery and Information Governance operations while building strong relationships with internal business partners, third-party service providers, and the broader IT organization.
Key responsibilities include selecting, implementing, and operating Endo's eDiscovery and Information Governance systems. The manager will work collaboratively across IT to ensure solutions align with Endo's business and technology frameworks.
The manager will also interact with outside counsel and vendors under the supervision of company attorneys and/or the IT Corporate Functions team to manage the status and scope of projects and requests.

Key Accountabilities:
Information Governance 40% of Time
- Performs day-to-day Information Governance operations and fulfills requests while building strong relationships with internal business partners, third-party service providers, and the broader IT organization.
- Develop and implement consistent and standard processes and technologies for managing information across the organization.
- Implement governance frameworks to oversee information management practices.
- Collaborate with external vendors to support information governance initiatives.
- Develop service models to deliver and support information governance solutions.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and operations of technology to manage and deliver information governance solutions.
eDiscovery Operations 50% of Time
- Performs day-to-day eDiscovery operations and fulfills requests while building strong relationships with internal business partners, third-party service providers, and the broader IT organization.
- Key responsibilities include planning and performing data collections (both structured and unstructured), creating scripts for database information retrieval, and managing eDiscovery requests.
- The role also involves facilitating structured data collections from various teams and providers, performing quality checks, and maintaining media tracking sheets.
- The position requires collaboration with IT support to set up connections with third-party providers, management of issues and ad-hoc requests, consulting with vendors, and providing activity and throughput reporting.
- Other duties include matter tracking, data transfer quality checks, and completing data delivery and documentation for imports/exports.
- The role also entails developing and maintaining eDiscovery collection protocols, providing expertise and technical support for eDiscovery tools, updating the ESI map for relevant applications, and ensuring timely compliance with legal project requests.
- The individual will manage projects to completion and document all processes.

Education and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology equivalent preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years’ technology experience in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
- Experience with eDiscovery and Information Governance systems and technologies such as: Microsoft Purview (eDiscovery and Compliance), Veritas Enterprise Vault, and others.
- Hands on experience with Powershell and Robocopy Scripting is a must.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools is essential
- Experience with creating and implementing Information Governance best practices, rules, and processes.
- Experience with eDiscovery processes, data and reporting analytics; developing and supporting integrated processes and technology solutions to maintain efficient operations.
- Project Management experience is desired.
- Preferred prior business partner / client facing experience.
Knowledge
- A firm understanding of eDiscovery data processing and concepts such as harvesting/culling, deduplication, filtering, and exception processing is desired.
- Exceptional knowledge of creating and implementing Information Governance best practices, rules, and processes.
- Subject matter expertise on data retention, preservation, eDiscovery processing, data culling, searching, document review, predictive coding, eDiscovery analytics, and document lifecycle management is desired.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS solutions and managing hosted offerings.
- Strong Vendor management experience.
- Experienced in application management and support.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under significant time constraints.
- Ability to work independently and independently problem solve issues.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability in establishing and developing comprehensive eDiscovery processes, managing the EDRM spectrum from information governance to production.
- Experience with email and other digital media investigations, retrieval processes, and information analysis procedures and protocols.
- Experience working with implementation partners and packaged software implementation.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in non-technical terms.
- Interfaces with eDiscovery vendors and in-house resources for preservation, collections, processing, hosting, and archival services.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and priorities with professionalism and client service orientation.
Physical Requirements
- Occasional travel to sites.
