Start your career in sales! Come join our newly created Inside Sales Hub and be part of Zebra’s strategy to prospect into and generate leads within our Enterprise accounts. We are hiring for multiple openings to build out this inside sales initiative as a Business Development Rep. with a target training date of March 3 rd , 2025.
Independently, or as part of a team, contacts existing and/or prospective customers by telephone. Observes and participates in identifying products and/or services that can benefit customer's needs. Responsible for selling relatively simple products or services to end user or channel partner accounts. Typically, smaller accounts unless partnered with a more senior Account Manager or Channel Manager.

This role is required to be onsite out of our Chicago, IL office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Contacts and qualifies all new partners applying (including those re-applying) into the PartnerConnect program to ensure that resellers meeting a defined, strategic criteria are selected and approved
- Provides outreach to all new partners in PartnerConnect, reviewing program benefits as well as Zebra products and solutions.
- Identifies pipeline opportunities and supports partner with product info, deal registration, and additional sales alignment, if necessary
- Provides initial training to new Partners, including how to navigate Partner Gateway and submit deal registrations
- Identifies high potential partners that may require immediate escalation to CAM/ICAM - reporting monthly
- Supports defined key growth initiatives for Territory Partners – product promotions, DCS, Supplies (ie, Partners strong in print with no supplies attach), Rugged Tablet, recruiting Partners for events, and churn the base/refresh for Territory partners
- Follows up with partners and end users named on deal registrations (meeting certain TBD thresholds) and qualifies the opportunity on behalf of the TAMs – this function requires product, vertical market and application knowledge
- Drives compliance for non-managed partners in conjunction with PIC and channel sales team, only as needed
- Assist and support the CAMs with our larger Zebra Partners - as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
- Interest and/or experience in pipeline generation with a proven ability to communicate effectively (0+ years)
- Strong interest in sales to drive new business opportunites
- This role is required to be onsite out of our Chicago office 5 days per week.

- Uses moderate sales domain / solutions knowledge
- Basic technical product knowledge
- Understands Solution Selling concepts and overcomes customer objections that are applicable to customer situations
- Knows where to seek answers and resources to effectively address challenges and drive results

Salary: USD 59500.00 - USD 89300.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
