Job Summary: This customer driven role works directly with contract administration and account managers in supporting account activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact and manage day-to-day contract activities for several multi-million-dollar large accounts for McKesson Medical-Surgical.
- Partner closely with account managers, customers, Group Purchasing Organizations, Contract Administration, and project management team to support assigned accounts.
- Proactively monitor, validate, and communicate changes to the account manager and customers daily.
- Obtain supporting contract documentation from suppliers through constant correspondence and assist suppliers in resolving eligibility issues.
- Monitor regular analysis of process workflow and account activity.
To be successful, you'll need to:
- Be a strong member of an outstanding team providing a single point of contact for the GPO Sales Team, while managing contract issues and communication for Strategic Accounts
- Drive process to ensure that 100% of all Strategic Account ship to locations are added to the primary GPO roster with correct parent/system within 90 days of creation (detailed documentation of delays)
- Collaborate with GPO and supplier partners to drive consistent eligibility across bill to and ship to accounts
- Various other tasks and/or projects, as assigned by the leadership team
Minimum Requirements
Requires 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
- 1+ years’ experience in account management, administrative sales support and/or customer service
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel- pivots, VLOOKUPS) and ability to analyze large datasets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Prioritization skills in balancing the needs of internal/external customers while staying organized
Additional Skills
- Energetic self-starter with a passion for customer service
- The ability to interact professionally with vendors, customers, and co-workers
- The ability to focus on the customer's needs & manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail, organizational and problem resolution skills
- Group Purchasing Organization and/or contract knowledge preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
Education
- HS Diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
