Job Responsibilities
- Provide innovative engineering solutions to complex technical problems, ensuring flawless execution.
- Work collaboratively with teams from various departments to develop, design, build, and test new equipment.
- Modify and enhance existing equipment, including injection molding processing equipment, under the technical mentorship of subject matter experts to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and manage mechanical drawings, ensuring they adhere to our strict plant standards.
- Develop and implement engineering test plans, activities, and Design of Experiments (DOEs) for validation and verification, as well as engineering reports on results.
- Learn project management activities for assigned projects under more experienced engineers
- Collaborate with different departments including process engineering, controls, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
- Conduct FMEA and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Use SolidWorks to create models and conduct engineering analysis on components and systems.
- Assist in generating comprehensive specifications and documentation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics and Polymer Engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 years' experience preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to engage with diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel as required.

The scope and complexity of this role encompass manufacturing engineering, equipment and tooling design, process engineering qualification, validation and verification, and plastic injection molding tooling design.
