Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in a hybrid role.

Position Summary
- Keep payables organized to ensure all vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Timely entry of monthly, quarterly, and annual vendor invoices.
- Ensure our expense management software is accurately and timely maintained in Concur.
- Weekly processing of employee expense reports.
- Monthly Amex reconciliation and follow-ups on missing items until reconciled.
- Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, and by keeping information confidential.

Accounts Payable
What You Will Do
- Process approximately 150 invoices weekly.
- Process all vendor payments via check and ACH weekly.
- Follow up on missing transactions associated with accounts payable.
- Handle all emails, calls and necessary research pertaining to accounts payable.
- Maintain vendor listing.
- Maintain ACH vendor listing.
Employee Expense Management (Concur)
- Run reports as needed by Corporate Office staff.
- Assist and educate Amex holders on how to sync and add Amex transactions into Concur.
- Reconcile Concur expenses to Amex statement and follow up on missing items monthly.
- Review expense reports for attached receipts and proper coding before submitting for payment.
- Import Concur journal entries weekly.
- Maintain employee list, which includes adding new hires, suspending terminations and updating manager assignments.
End Of Month
- File and pay gross receipts tax.
- Complete AP and Amex tasks according to monthly checklists.
- Complete applicable partner tax documents for distribution to partners.
End Of Year
- Assist Accounting Supervisor during the audit process with requests related to job functions.
- Coordinate the processing, filing and payment of annual tax returns.
- Process and pay all state taxes via check and e-check according to BKD deliverables.
- Maintain 1099 vendor list and complete all 1099 forms for distribution.
Administrative/Customer Service
- Provide constant customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
- Box up all annual accounting documents for storage at the end of the year and prepare for the new year.
- Properly label all records for record retention.
What You Will Need
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of A/P experience.
