CompleteRx is looking for a Pharmacist In Charge to provide exceptional patient care at Champion Pharmacy, located inside CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, NM.
The Pharmacist In Charge will oversee the pharmacy's operations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This individual will manage a team, leading by example and delivering direct patient care.
Pharmacists in retail - We have an opportunity to work in an outpatient pharmacy in a hospital setting. If you're looking to advance your career and work in a more clinical setting, we welcome candidates with only retail experience to apply.
SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
Pharmacy Hours:
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm
Work Schedule:
This role will provide coverage at the outpatient pharmacy during the day shift for weekdays and weekends (rotating work schedule).

CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico has served the communities for over 67 years providing excellence in healthcare services. The hospital is an acute care medical center with additional licenses for 12 inpatient rehab beds and 38 psychiatric beds. The medical center is a non-profit accredited by DNV.
What You Will Do
- Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately
- Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol
- Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
- Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy
- Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing
What You Will Need
Requirements:
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.
- Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
- Two years of hospital experience is preferred but not required.
- Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors, and staff.
