The Role
This is a summer internship opportunity in Norwood/Cambridge/Remote from June 2, 2025 – August 15, 2025.
Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the internship. Start date will be June 2, 2025.
The Compliance organization in Quality at Moderna is looking for top talent in communication, training and instructional design with a strong science background to assist the organization in creating micro-burst training elements for Moderna colleagues. The summer intern will use their knowledge and skills to create small digestible training elements for a variety of GMP (Good manufacturing Practices) topics that will be made available across Moderna sites. Summer Interns will have an opportunity to engage with employees across the Quality department.
Here’s What You’ll Do
- Work with a team of highly skilled experts to understand the key focus areas of GMP that will be targeted in these compliance education sessions.
- Use technical and communication skills to create micro-burst educational learning opportunities that are multi-modal.
- Apply instructional design principles to structure education materials
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- Current student enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- GPA of 3.5 on a 4 scale or equivalent
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
- Ability to clearly articulate training objectives, present information effectively, and engage learners.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to design engaging and effective training materials
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visually appealing training materials
- Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as the ability to contribute to high performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
