We are seeking a talented Strategic Project & Program Director to lead our Program Management Office (PMO), reporting to the Strategy function in Legal & Regulatory U.S. This role will be pivotal in driving the successful delivery of strategic projects and programs that align with our business objectives. The Strategic Project & Program Director will lead cross-functional teams, manage project portfolios, and ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Program Leadership: Architect, lead, and oversee complex, cross-functional projects and programs with significant business impact. Develop and execute comprehensive project roadmaps aligned with organizational strategic objectives.
- Advanced Program Management: Drive the full project lifecycle, from inception to closure, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and financial oversight. Employ advanced project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) to optimize project delivery.
- Business Acumen: Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and efficiency. Provide expert analysis and recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Team Development and Mentorship: Build, lead, and mentor high-performing project teams. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the project environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Performance Measurement and Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success. Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Change Management: Lead and manage organizational change initiatives associated with project implementation. Develop and execute change management strategies to mitigate resistance and ensure adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Systems Management or related field.
- Experience (12+ years) in program management, change management, transformation, and/or strategy/consulting with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale complex programs and strategic initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Position requires some travel (10%), including overnight stays, based on business needs.
- Travel may be domestic or international, including travel between office locations.
Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $182,500-$258,350
