Opportunity Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Cyber & Digital Risk Management (C&DR) team at BD. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvement and providing insightful data analytics to support our cybersecurity operations and maturity. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, process improvement, and experience with Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, interpret and report data to provide actionable insights for the cybersecurity team.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize operational and executive metrics.
- Conduct data quality assessments and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Create and present operational and executive reports to team leaders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Design and maintain portfolio metrics dashboards to track the performance of cybersecurity initiatives.
- Support the development of ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in data analytics and visualizations or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
