Ecolab is hiring a
Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Specialist to join our team in McDonough, GA. Reporting to the SHE Manager, SHE Specialist will work with and support the SHE Manager and operations management to implement environmental, health, and safety programs, procedures and best practice techniques, implement new procedures to comply with regulatory requirements, and provide control measures that reduce or eliminate risks to the Ecolab plant.

What You Will Do:
- The responsibility of the EHS Specialist is to meet Ecolab’s primary goal of providing a safe and sustainable working environment for employees.
- SHE Specialist will provide daily safety support on day-to-day operations
- Conduct incident investigations to identify causes and corrective actions.
- Conduct observations/audits of personnel, tools, equipment, and work practices to assure safe and proper procedures are being observed.
- Identify, evaluate, and make recommendations on programs, practices, tools and equipment aimed at reducing or eliminating risk for our teammates.
- Participate in and lead weekly meetings within the plant
- Monitor and review safety data for trends and identify risk reduction strategies.
- Develop and conduct safety training and presentations for new hires or refresher training.
- Reduces hazards and environmental risks which prevent injury, illness, property loss, productivity loss, and associated costs.
- Ensures that the plant is compliant to hazardous and dangerous goods handling, storage, and transportation regulation.
Position Details
- Location: McDonough, GA Chemical Manufacturing Plant
- Hours: 7am - 5pm, with occasional days you would stay late (alternating with your manager)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in production environment
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Suite (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with Workday
- Experience with SAP

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is . Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
